This is my response to the events of November 8, 2016.

they're these homilies, platitudes, proverbs, it gets to the point where you don't notice them at all
it's like aesop's fables, it's like nursery rhymes,
it's the crap that your grandmother told you and told you a thousand times
and then one day you come to know the truth inside a statement like "you don't know what you had until it's gone."

he is selfish and sexist and racist and he's deeply broken inside
and I hope and pray there's just a little truth behind the homily, "it's always darkest right before the dawn."
